As you may know, Blistered Whiskers is a non-profit organization run solely by its volunteers! We have no paid employees; just dedicated compassionate, loving individuals willing to commit their time to save our street kittens. The volunteers here take their work very seriously knowing that just one simple mistake or one no show could cause irreparable damage to these already fragile baby kittens. Cleaning cages and providing proper nutrition is only the beginning. BWI relies on their volunteers for close monitoring of each and every kittens progress. Often this involves, medicating, vaccinating, bottle feeding, tube feeding and most importantly, lots and lots of nurturing to all of our sweet babies.
