Suspect Animal Cruelty?
Common signs of animal cruelty/abuse include:
· Sores, cuts, bruises or nicks on the animal’s body
· Bruising/bleeding or other injury to the genital regions
· Patches of missing fur
· Tick or flea infestation
· Extremely thin body
· Limping/inability to walk
· Witness hitting or beating of an animal
· Dogs left alone outside, chained up without food/water/shelter
· Dog kept outside during extreme temperatures without shelter
· A house with an excessive amount of cats
· Animal cowering in fear or acting aggressively (especially to the owner)
· Pets left in parked car (during hot weather)
· Owners yelling or threatening physical harm to animal
