"I found a baby kitten and need help!!!"

--> Before taking these kittens please make sure that the mom didn't just go off for food. Baby kittens require bottle feeding every THREE HOURS - or they will die. The staff at Blistered Whiskers can not handle bottle feeding lots of babies. If you are accepted for intake, the mom cat is necessary for the babies survival. Babies without a mom to nurse from have a VERY slim chance of survival.

PLEASE don't snatch baby kittens unless you are POSITIVE the mom cat has left them there for longer than a couple hours. Imagine if you went to the store to get some food for yourself and you came home and your babies were gone!

Blistered Whiskers is able to take kittens on a case by case basis. Please do not count on us for automatic and fast intake. Please see the link for other shelters to call, the more calls you make, the better chance you have of getting a response! If you are looking for help with spay/neuter of feral free-roaming cats and kittens please call:

The Spay Neuter Hotline at 602-265-7729
