Sully
Simon (we changed his name) is doing awesome. We have 2 other cats and 2 min-pins and they all get along great. Simon loves to play with our female min-pin, Jillian. They are like 2 peas in a pod. Simon sleeps with her and follows her everywhere, even eats with her. Simon loves to sleep with Jillian and also in our bed, usually in between me and my husband. He loves to play with these cat balls we got for him. He carries them all around the house. He has been a great addition to our family, we could not be more happy. I have included a few photos.
Thanks
Jacquelyn and Shane
Shyla
Favorite Toy: Golf-ball sized rubber ball
Sleeping Spot: Will sleep anywhere, but can usually be found on top of the sofa
Funniest Moment: When playing with a male “sibling”, they will tear through the house together. When the sibling approaches Shyla, she will jump straight up in the air and her “brother” will run beneath her.
Other: Shyla is in good health weighing in at 8lbs 12oz.
She is stubborn, independent and not afraid of anything.
Shyla tests her owner’s quickness in entering or leaving the home by sneaking outside when the door is open. Her owner has taken precautions by making sure Shyla is up-to-date on her shots.
Shyla is a good traveler who recently visited Montana with her family.
“I’m really glad we got her. She is adorable!” - Jill

* Now called Boo
I hope this helps to get more cats adopted. I would adopt them all if I could! Boo is very loved and we are very happy that she found us.
Thank you.
Desiree Osborne
Favorite Toy: Boo has a little pink ball that she carries around and talks to.
Favorite Place to Sleep: Her favorite place to sleep is at the foot of my bed.
Funniest Moment: There hasn't really been just one moment, it is really funny watching her play with the other cats. They are all relatively close in age and it looks like wrestlemania when they get going. They run through the house chasing each other like nascar racers.
How Boo is Doing Overall: Overall, I think Boo is very happy and content. She fit in perfectly with our other three cats almost immediately and now you would never know that they were not raised together from the time they were kittens.
Additional Notes: We can't imagine what it would be like without Boo. She has really become an important part of our family.
Freckles
* Now called Frisco
Frisco's favorite toy: The mouse that I fill with catnip, he goes crazy for it! He loves catnip so much that I actually started growing it in my back yard for him so he can have it as often as he wants! The other two cat's don't mind having it there either.
Frisco's favorite place to sleep: By far my bed! When I got Frisco I let him sleep with me so that he would feel comfortable and safe in his new home. Of course he loves sleeping in the bed but he is very picky about how he sleeps. He will not lay in bed until the comforter is pulled back and he has a pillow to lay his head on. I have never seen a cat that uses a pillow like a human, but my Frisco does.
Frisco's funniest moment: Frisco enjoy's clawing his catnip filled scratch pad....there's just one problem, when I adopted him he was de-clawed. He tries so hard to scratch the pad and act tough like his new brother and sister but it's much harder for him without claws. It is so funny to watch him go crazy and get riled up over it.
Overall Frisco is such a joy to have. I adopted my other two cat's Stella and Mr. Big when they were kittens from a lady who was going to give them to the humane society. I of course didn't want to see them go there so I adopted them. I was shopping at Pets Mart getting some litter when saw Frisco and his story in the window. I couldn't resist, I had to have him! He was so sweet and loving when I picked him up and I knew I was able to provide him with a good home. He get's along well with the other two and although they've had their moments they lick each other and keep one another company when I'm at work.
I have not talked to anyone from Blistered Whiskers that is not a volunteer! How amazing and wonderful it is that you all give your time and love to these cat's that just want to live life happily. Your volunteers should feel amazing about what they do every day! I now have a stray cat in back yard that I feed and take care of and I will continue to do everything I can for all pet's that I come in contact with. They come into our lives and love us no matter what! Where would I be without my children Frisco, Stella, and Mr.Big...........

* Now called Jack
Jack is doing fine, I am very happy to have gotten him.
He loves playing with my other two cats and doing whatever they do.
He loves to play with those colored mice and strings.
He sleeps right next to me and wakes us up at 5:30 for his can food every morning.
He is very lovable and vocal.
I want to thank all of you for helping all the cats.
