Digit is a beautiful tuxedo cat and as you probably guessed he has extra toes! Digit is looking for that special someone who will love him until he trusts them enough to love them back. If you have time to love the shy type please consider adopting Digit.
Hello, I’m Digit! Do you know why? Because I have extra
fingers on my paws! I’m a little (okay, very) standoffish. If someone is
standing by my “spot” I might decide to reach out and try to swipe them. I also
hiss, so they’re going to put me down as “not good with children”, just in
case. Maybe if I’m adopted I’ll warm up and become nicer. It’s a little crowded
at the shelter, maybe I’m just cranky here.
But don’t you want a cat with thumbs?! We’re called “polydactyl”.
Blistered Whiskers is a non-profit organization, run by an all volunteer staff, dedicated to helping stray and street kittens in the Phoenix area by providing the necessary resources to assist with their feeding, shelter, spay/neuter, and medical care.
